Lindsay Lohan opens up about her 'amazing' husband in rare personal interview

Lindsay Lohan is ready to get back into the spotlight, and she's sharing the sweetest of glimpses into what her life looks like these days.

Though she is well on her way making her acting comeback, she has kept her personal life more private, particularly her relationship with Bader Shammas, who she quietly married this year.

The couple became engaged in November of 2021, and though little is known of their relationship, the actress can't help but gush about the financier and proudly call him her husband.

On Monday, Lindsay was featured in Cosmopolitan's The Work Issue, and gave rare insight into what her husband is really like.

Speaking of her personal life and the people closest to her, she endearingly said: "Well, I have an amazing husband, who's a very calm person."

The couple live in Dubai, and Bader, who is the assistant vice president at  bank Credit Suisse, is originally from Kuwait.

Further speaking of her support system, she included her family and a "small group of good friends who are just really good people," explaining that: "That's the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones."

Lindsay first confirmed she had married her now husband with an Instagram photo of the two in July, which she captioned with: "I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time."

Lindsay looked spectacular for the cover

She revealed her official relationship status by adding: "I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything."

They were first linked together in February of 2020 after attending a music festival in Dubai. Lindsay captioned a since-deleted photo of the two alongside friends with: "@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader. such a magical night."
