From time to time, Kelly Ripa steps away from her show, Live! and in her absence, Maria Menounos, often stands in.
The former E! personality does a great job as her temporary replacement and fans love her interaction with Ryan Seacrest too.

But on Friday, it was Maria's turn to be a guest on Live with Kelly and Ryan and she loved it!

Taking to Instagram, the TV personality shared snapshots of herself with the duo and they were all beaming for the cameras and wearing Christmas sweaters.
She captioned the post: "I love filling in for Kelly Ripa on live. But being a guest was even more fun because I got to hang with her and I loooove her energy. She’s so sweet."

Maria continued: "Promoting my new Christmas movie on @livewithrkellyandryan Holiday Sweater party couldn’t have been more perfect. The Holiday Dating Guide premieres TOMORROW!!! Who’s gonna watch?! Drinking game for every time we don’t kiss! are you in? Will you wear a Christmas sweater and tag me while you watch?"
Maria Menounos opened up about being a guest on Live with Kelly and Ryan
Her social media followers commented: "We love you Maria. Thanks for your laughs," and, "Your smile lights up the room."
Many others said they adore Maria on the show and if Kelly were ever to leave, she would be the perfect replacement.

Ryan was absent from the show earlier in the week and Kelly's husband, Mark Consuelos, kept his chair warm for a few days.

She asked her hubby how he felt about his hosting streak alongside her and teased that their friends were worried that they were spending too much time together.
"How are you doing on day three?" she asked him, and when he said he was feeling good, she added: "People are checking in with me.

"They're checking in to see how our marriage is surviving." While Mark seemed confused at first, he then got into the bit, referring to his past appearances over the week as well.

"One of my friends says I've gone off the rails," he said, which Kelly nodded in agreement with. "A lot of admissions, things we didn't know about you before," she continued.
Mark took a defiant stance as he replied: "Listen, Art [Moore, producer] told me 'No more of this stuff that people just play down the middle. Tell the truth.'"
He was welcomed back warmly, however, by both his wife and the rest of the show's staff, and it's clear that their coupling has been quite a fan favorite over the years.
