Josh Hall's career
Josh Hall is a real estate agent based in Austin, Texas. Prior to getting started in his current profession, Josh lived in California and worked as a police officer for 16 years.
However, according to the biography which Josh used to have on the Spyglass Realty website, his career as a member of the force came to an end following an injury which he sustained on duty. The popular realtor opened up about this experience in a throwback post he made on Instagram in January 2023.
"Typically I won’t share much about my personal life and my past, but with today being #NationalLawEnforcementAppreciationDay, me spending 16+ years in that field before medically retiring, I felt the need to remind those who are unaware and want to show some appreciation for those still grinding away for our safety," the Christina in the Country star wrote.
As can be seen above, he went on to share more about his thoughts on the profession and those who work in it, before calling on people to appreciate their work. "So today, I salute my forever brothers and sisters in blue, tan/green or whatever color uniform has a badge pinned to it," Josh signed off his message.
Speaking about his career change to working in real estate after his injury, the 42-year-old explained in his former Spyglass biography that having already spent years "solving problems" and "helping others through difficult situations," moving over to a career helping people find houses felt like a good choice for someone such as himself who also had a passion for real estate.
As a realtor, Josh naturally had a lot of work related interests in common with Christina, who made her name starring as the host of all ten seasons of the home makeover show Flip or Flop.
What is his net worth?
Josh has a net worth of around $3 to $4 million thanks to his successful career as a realtor. While this is an impressive enough figure by itself, following his marriage to Christina, it’s likely to have increased again.
Christina is a savvy real estate investor which along with her work with HGTV has raised her net worth to an estimated $25 million, according to the website Celebrity Net Worths.
She and Josh starred together on the popular TV host’s show Christina in the Country – despite the fact they have attempted to keep the spotlight away from their relationship in the past.

After announcing they were dating in mid-2021, Christina explained in an Instagram caption that they had connected in the spring but hadn’t wanted to let the media into their relationship to begin with. "I felt immediately crazy protective over him and wanted to keep him for myself and get to know each other before the tornado (media attention) hit," she told her followers.
But they grew increasingly more open about their family life, with Christina and Josh both regularly sharing updates into their family life via interviews and via their Instagram stories and posts on that site and other social media. The pair split their time between two homes: the first a luxury $12 million Newport beach home based in Christina's home-state of California, and the second a cozy country property based in Josh's home of Tennessee.
Unsurprisingly, the two realtors and design experts spent a lot of time and money remodeling their houses so that they are the perfect places to spend time raising their family. During this process, the HGTV star has shown off her and her husband's new pool, living area and their children's bedrooms on social media.
Inside the former couple's relationship
Christina and Josh were together for three years, first announcing that they were dating via Instagram in July 2021. The now-estranged couple went on to get engaged in September, and then married in secret at a private courthouse ceremony sometime before April 2022.

But one wedding ceremony was not enough. In September 2022, one year following their engagement, they were married again in a more public facing ceremony. Josh and the Flip or Flop host celebrated their love by exchanging vows in Maui, Hawai’i.
Speaking to People magazine, Josh explained: "Having our ceremony there was really special… Our reception overlooked Kapalua Bay, where I have so many wonderful memories growing up and vacationing there as a child with my parents."
He concluded by revealing that despite the fact the pair shared more about this wedding, it was still a private one: "We kept it small and intimate with our family and closest friends," he said.
Josh's family life with Christina
No, at the moment Josh does not have any children of his own with Christina. However, the 42-year-old appears to be a caring step-father to the TV personality’s three children from her previous two marriages.
Christina shares two children, Taylor, 12, Brayden, seven, with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, and the 40-year-old also had one other child with her second husband Ant: three-year-old Hudson. The whole blended family recently joined together for a heartwarming celebration of Christina's dad's 70th birthday.
Speaking about step-fatherhood with Entertainment Tonight in June 2023, Josh said: "There's a lot of adjustments to being a stepdad. It's adjusting my time. Instead of having to just take care of [Christina], I've got three little ones that I have to give attention to as much as [she does]."
But he continued: "I think it's very rewarding, because I now know that when those kids become contributing adults to society one day, I'll have had an impact on how they were brought up and what they become."
Inside their divorce
News of their divorce broke in July 2024, with TMZ reporting the former couple filed separate documents in Orange County, California. Josh cited Tuesday July 8 as the date of separation, claiming "irreconcilable differences" for the reason for the dissolution.
Almost a month after filing for divorce, Josh said: "I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever.
"We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are."
