Stacey Dooley has thrilled fans for years with series such as Glow Up, This is My House and Stacey Dooley Investigates, but one of her most beloved shows is DNA: Family Secrets.
On Tuesday, the popular presenter confirmed that the moving programme, would be returning for a third series with a photo showing the set with three armchairs and plenty of studio lighting. "DNA. We baaaaaaack," she enthusiastically captioned the shot, driving her followers wild.
One exclaimed: "Yes!!! Love this programme!" while a second posted: "Brilliant. I love this show," and a third asked: "When is it showing?"
In a lengthy comment a fourth added: "This show often has me in tears, regardless of whether the outcome is good, or not so good. I have total respect for you Stacey, ever since I watched you and others travelling through the sweatshops in Bangladesh."
The series sees Stacey and geneticist Turi King using cutting-edge DNA technology to help people discover parts of their ancestry or reveal whether they might have a genetic condition.

Previous episodes of the show have seen Stacey help a man discover the true identity of his father, and woman to find out whether she might have a half-sister she was previously unaware of.
It's been an exciting past few months for Stacey who welcomed a baby daughter, Minnie, with her long-term partner, former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton.
On Mother's Day, Kevin posted a candid shot which showed the presenter sitting in a chair at a restaurant, with Minnie snuggled into her shoulder, as Stacey smiled and looked into the distance.

Kevin wrote a gushing tribute to his partner in the caption, which read: "I've watched my girl @sjdooley become an absolute superwoman over the last couple of months (as if she wasn’t already).
"The most wonderful mum to our daughter Minnie. Love you baby. Happy 1st Mother’s Day [red heart emoji, mouse emoji]". Stacey sweetly responded in the comments section with a crying emoji, love heart and mouse emoji.
