Oscar-nominated actress Sharon Stone recently celebrated her 65th birthday, looking absolutely ageless in a stunning photoshoot for ELLE Spain's digital cover.

The ever-elegant Sharon wore a white Schiaparelli pantsuit and a striking Daniel Roseberry necklace for the shoot.

The Pennsylvania-born star shared her thoughts on aging with the magazine, confidently stating, "I am happy as a mature woman and I feel fantastic."

The Flight Attendant actress has revealed the secrets of her ageless looks in the past saying:

“For me, it's more about real inner beauty. It's important to have a philosophy or way of life or faith that keeps you balanced. For me, that has been Buddhism.

“It's something that brings you back to center, and is really the key to serenity and beauty - an internal sense of form and elegance,” she told Vogue.

But Sharon hasn’t always been so at peace with her looks. She also confessed to the publication that in her 40s she struggled with acceptance:

“There was a point in my forties when I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, "I won't get out until I can fully accept my body,” she confessed.

“I like my body so much more. I'm so grateful for my body. When I was younger, everybody told me what was wrong with my body - too this, too that,” she added.

Sharon has both been an avid supporter of cancer research as well as outspoken about her own health struggles, which have included not only a stroke, in 2001, but she also had to remove a large tumor from her breast, in 2001 as well.

Sharon Stone makes surprise visit

At  The Women's Cancer Research Fund's An Unforgettable Evening Benefit Gala she reminded attendees of the importance of getting mammograms, and recalled her own experience with being told by doctors they found "a tumor that was larger than my breast."

She frankly said, "Those mammograms are not fun," however, she added: "And for someone like me who was told that I had breast cancer because I had a tumor that was larger than my breast and they were sure that I couldn't possibly have a tumor without it being cancer, it wasn't.

"But I went to the hospital, saying, 'If you open me up and it's cancer, please take both my breasts,' because I am not a person defined by my breasts. You know, that might seem funny coming from me since you've all seen 'em."

In addition to her acting career, Sharon Stone has ventured into the art world with her first painting exhibition, "Shedding: Sharon Stone."

The exhibition is currently on display at the Allouche Gallery in Culver City, Los Angeles, and runs until April 7.
