Kelly Ripa wished her husband, Mark Consuelos, a happy birthday on Thursday and shared several photos to pay tribute. She wrote: "Happy birthday to the love of my life @instasuelos. Celebrating you never gets old."

While there were many adorable snapshots from his childhood and family throwbacks too, one, in particular, stood out. In the image, Mark looked tiny, as he was flanked by NBA players, Jarron and Jason Collins.

While he struck a fighter's pose, he was completely overshadowed by the towering duo who made Mark appear miniscule.

The Riverdale actor posted the original photo last year on Instagram and joked about it with a caption which read: "Former Soccer player vs former basketball players. Not sure why I have my fists up.. I was concerned they were going to put me in a Bjorne."

Fans found the photo hilarious and commented: "Looks like they could put you in their pocket," and, "This almost looks like an optical illusion." Even Kelly weighed in and said her husband was giving her "action-figure vibes".

Mark's 52nd birthday comes at an exciting time for the family as he's about to take the hosting seat next to Kelly on Live!.

After six years on the ABC morning show alongside Ryan Seacrest, she will be joined by her husband as her co-host, her fourth since she began, starting April 15.

Speaking in the latest edition of Variety's Power of Women, she said:  "I don’t want to put a timeline on it. But I do believe there is a great opportunity to get two younger people and start training them, because I like seamless transitions. However long it takes to get two people up and ready is how long we'll be there."

She'd also relish in more time off! "I've never had a year off in my life," Kelly confessed. "The most I've had off is a month, and that's usually been for maternity leave."
