Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are on cloud nine as they celebrate a special achievement, meaningful on a personal and professional level.
Kyra's first full-length feature as a director, Space Oddity, is finally out in theaters and on streaming, and it stars none other than her husband, alongside Kyle Allen, Alexandra Shipp, Simon Helberg, and Carrie Preston.
64-year-old Kevin shared a romantic snapshot of himself embracing his wife as they twinned in black from a previous shoot with Vanity Fair.
He lovingly wrote: "What fun it is to stand by your side and watch you create, @kyrasedgwickofficial. I can't wait for everyone to see #SpaceOddity in theaters and streaming today!"

They received a slew of compliments from their fans, as one dubbed them: "One of my favorite celebrity couples," and another also said: "What a beautiful couple."
A third similarly gushed: "Saw it today! It is wonderful!! Congratulations! See this heartfelt and loving movie! [Kudos] to both you and Kyra Sedgwick!"
The sci-fi romantic-comedy was first released at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2022, where the couple spoke exclusively with HELLO! about working together on the project.
She even recruited her 33-year-old son Travis, a musician, to help score the project, and the pair gushed about the rare opportunity to work with members of their own family.

Speaking of the various times she's worked with her family, the actress admitted: "It's a little nepotism, but it's always worth it."
She explained that: "They're amazing at what they do, and they know my brain. So it's nice."
© Getty ImagesSpace Oddity is the third time the mother-of-two gets to direct her husband, following 2017's TV film Story of a Girl, also starring their daughter Sosie, 31, and an episode of Kevin's Showtime series City on a Hill.
Of the experience, she said: "It's always easy. He's a great actor, not much to tell him, you know, little tweaks here and there."
