Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is well known for his stellar performances in some of Hollywood's hottest blockbusters, but on Sunday night, the Moana star will take center stage as one of the award presenters at the Oscar's.
Away from the spotlight, the 50-year-old former wrestler spends much of his time with his wife Lauren Hashian and his three children Simone, Jasmine and Tiana. Lauren is always hands-on to support her husband, often appearing alongside him on the red carpet, but what do you know of the star? Keep scrolling for the ultimate low-down…
Who is Lauren Hashian?
Lauren is a music producer, composer and performer. The musically gifted mother-of-two was arguably inspired by her famous father Sib Hashian who took on the role of drummer in American rock band, Boston. Speaking to Billboard, Lauren joked she was destined to follow in her father's footsteps as he used to practice next to her bedroom.
"Even after his band had already split up, he practiced every single day of his life in the drum room," Lauren explained. "Seeing him practice every day, for me, it became part of my purpose — 'He practices every day, I should practice every day, too.'"
Lauren kicked off her career after she won a talent competition at Emerson College in her native Boston. She has been harnessing her talent ever since, with the singer going on to appear on a number of shows including the likes of RU The Girl? in 2005. She made it to the show's final alongside TLC’s Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas.
Lauren has since gone on to release tracks like 'Ride the Wave' and she directed the music video for 'Exile' which features in her husband's film, Black Adam. The star also released her own EP Love...And Other Things (Side A) in 2021.
How did the couple meet?
Dwayne and Lauren first crossed paths in 2006 while the actor was in the middle of filming The Game Plan. The couple started dating in 2007 and later tied the knot in 2019 after 12 happy years together.
Speaking to People magazine in 2021, the Fast & Furious star gushed: "I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once… To fall in love again? That's a hard thing to do twice in the position I'm in. I'm one lucky son of a [expletive]."

Dwayne's romance with Lauren came to light after the actor split with his former wife, Dany Garcia. The former couple had been together for ten years and went on to welcome daughter, Simone, 22. At the time of their split, Dwayne and Dany penned a joint statement which read: "While certain aspects of our relationship have changed, we are both vitally important to each other's lives.
"We will continue to advance and manage our business interests, our philanthropic efforts and most importantly the raising of our child together, as a loving team. We've been fortunate enough to spend the last 17 years together as a couple and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together as best friends and business partners."
Where did the couple get married?
The smitten couple tied the knot on 18 August 2019 in Hawaii. Their intimate nuptials took place in an idyllic beachfront location complete with a sit-down meal and stunning floral displays.

Lauren looked gorgeous in a Chantilly lace sheath gown by couture bridal designer Mira Zwillinger. It featured a plunging neckline and open-back detailing, with embellished detailing around the waist. Dwayne, meanwhile, looked particularly dapper in an all-white suit.
Wedding guests tucked into a sumptuous menu featuring artisanal breads, charcuterie, stacked pancakes, frittata and plenty of Veuve Clicquot champagne. Lifting the lid on their special day, Dwayne described their memorable day as "spectacular" in a touching Instagram post.
Their big day was made extra special thanks to Lauren who first performed her single 'Step Into a Love Like This' at their wedding reception. "Sharing it with Dwayne and his heartfelt reaction was one of the many moments of our unforgettable day and celebration that I’ll hold onto forever," Lauren gushed.
How many kids does Dwayne have?
Dwayne is a proud father-of-three. He welcomed his eldest daughter, Simone, in August 2001 with his ex-wife, Dany Garcia. Despite parting ways with Dany, Dwayne is still very much a hands-on dad to his 22-year-old daughter.
The father-daughter duo share an incredibly close bond. In 2019, they stunned fans on the red carpet at the Sundance Film Festival. Appearing on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Dwayne gushed about their "awesome relationship."

Simone is now following in her father's wrestling footsteps. In 2020, it was revealed that the rising star signed with WWE and began training in Florida. She made her WWE TV debut in October 2022 as Ava Raine.
Dwayne became a dad for the second time in December 2015 with his then-partner, Lauren. Sharing news of Lauren's pregnancy, the movie star shared a heartwarming snapshot of his partner's blossoming baby bump. Alongside the photo, he penned: "I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more," he wrote. "IT'S A BABY GIRL!!"
When Jasmine Lia came into the world, Dwayne penned: "Christmas definitely came early!"
Aside from Jasmine, eight, Dwayne is a doting dad to daughter, Tiana, five. Dwayne and Lauren welcomed their bundle of joy on 17 April 2018. Alongside an adorable newborn picture shared to Instagram, doting dad Dwayne penned: "Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world.
"Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rockstar."
Dwayne shares adorable updates of his daughters over on Instagram. Back in March, the professional wrestler documented the hilarious moment his two little girls treated their father to a "makeover."
Unleashing their creativity, Jasmine and Tiana went to town with some trusty lipstick and a black felt liner. The end result? A bright pink full face of makeup and a curly moustache. Iconic.
In his hilarious caption, Dwayne revealed: "I spent an hour TRYING to scrub lipstick off my head and face – unbeknownst to me – this [expletive] stains the skin [crying face emoji]."
