Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis may put on a friendly face in public, but off camera, and in court, it appears their relationship is much more contentious.
Though they have appeared friendly with each other when they have been spotted together several times since splitting up in 2020, they are still embroiled in legal drama.
While they never married, the couple first started dating in 2011, and got engaged in 2013. They split in 2020, and shortly after the Booksmart director started dating Don't Worry Darling her co-star Harry Styles, though they eventually split at the end of 2022.

Jason and Olivia had two kids together during their relationship, Otis Alexander, eight, and Daisy Josephine, six, and they've gone to court over custody and child support issues.
Their legal battle seemingly reached an all time high last summer, while Olivia was in the middle of doing press for DWD – which had its own fair share of drama at the Venice Film Festival – she was served legal papers, allegedly from her ex-fiancé, while on stage giving a presentation about her new movie to a crowd.

However, the drama doesn't appear to have at all dwindled since. Just last month in March, Olivia had to finally speak out about the tense situation following a leak of court documents concerning their custody battle.
Leaked papers obtained by the Daily Mail gave details of the actress' income and her attorney's claim that the ongoing legal battle is an attempt on Jason's behalf to "litigate" her "into debt."

Following the leak, a representative for the director told E! News: "The sealed and private documents that were leaked today are the utmost breach of trust and never intended for public consumption," adding that: "Olivia only continues to be focused on coparenting her children and moving past this difficult period swiftly and drama free."
Now, legal documents first obtained by The Blast reveal that Olivia has formally requested in court that Jason start paying child support, claiming she "has borne the lion's share of the expenses for their children" even though "he earns significantly more than" her.
The records reveal personal details of the two star's incomes, including that she told the court she makes $40,000 a month in salary, $60,000 from "Wilde Company income," and that she has $645,187 in bank accounts, plus over $10 million in other assets. While she maintains she and Jason do split some of the cost of raising their children, such as school tuition, she claims she is taking on more than $107,000 in monthly expenses, including almost $60,000 in "rent/mortgage" and $4,000 in "laundry and cleaning."
