The celebrations were held in Ruth's £3.25m Surrey home, which she shares with her husband Eamonn Holmes, and their children. The perfect space for entertaining, the celebrity couple often hosts celebrations at their lavish home. Back in February, Ruth and Eamonn threw an equally epic dinner party for their son Jack's 21st birthday. Ruth made sure to commemorate the occasion with a clip of the black, silver and gold table setting that she'd created for him.
Ruth captioned it: "A wonderful weekend spent celebrating our son Jack's 21st birthday….where did those years go?!!! Had to do my birthday table of course….it's family tradition!! #21stbirthday #son #family #celebration."
Jack is Ruth and Eamonn's only son, and he is currently studying his third year at university. Eamonn is also a father to Declan, 32, Rebecca, 30, and Niall, 28, whom he shares with his ex-wife Gabrielle.
While Ruth and Eamonn are incredibly proud of Jack, Ruth admitted that in the past it felt like her "womb had been ripped out" when he left home back in 2020.
"It sounds dramatic but for the next three days, I felt like I'd had my womb ripped out," she said. "It was painful. I was sitting on his bed, sniffing his pillow, and I kept his bedroom door shut so I could imagine he was in there." Ruth continued: "Now it's great. Jack seems so happy and I don't get as upset each time he comes home and leaves again."
