Dylan Dreyer is opening up about a special moment in her family that has left her with happy tears, and fans truly inspired.
The Today star reunited with one of her brothers, James – the two also have another brother, Mike – who not only just received the honor of a lifetime, but finally got to meet his youngest nephews, Dylan's son's Oliver, 3, and Russell, 1.
The beloved meteorologist explained that because of the pandemic, they hadn't been able to see each other, because she lives in New York City, while her brother lives in Oregon.

Over the weekend, Dylan took to Instagram to share tidbits from the special family meeting and reunion, revealing that the family flew to Oregon to celebrate her brother getting promoted to Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force.
She first shared heartwarming photos proving her kids' instant bond with their uncle, and wrote in her caption: "I'd say the first meeting went way better than I could have ever imagined!"

The mom-of-three then followed with a video of Sergeant Dreyer's special ceremony, and she declared: "PROUD SISTER ALERT," before continuing with: "My brother was just promoted to Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force… the highest rank for an enlisted member."
She added: "He has sacrificed so much and always puts others before himself. And he's a pretty bad ass boss."

"I cried so many proud tears for him receiving this honor," she confessed, before endearingly noting: "I'm so lucky to have been here to witness it with my kids. What a role model he is for my boys."
Dylan's Today Show colleagues and fans alike were immediately inspired and congratulated the family for the special moment, with her 3rd Hour co-host Sheinelle Jones writing: "Amazing!!!!!"
Other followers of the Today anchor followed suit, writing: "Congratulations on his promotion and thank him for his service," and: "Be proud sister!!! Thank you for your service Chief Master Sergeant Dryer," as well as: "Congrats! That's a huge accomplishment! Less than 1% of the enlisted force makes it this far. Thank him for his service!"
