Sir Rod Stewart had a big surprise for fans on Easter Monday.
The 78-year-old rocker took to Instagram to reveal that he had decided to get a tattoo dedicated to a great love in his life.
Rod can be seen in the snapshot smiling slightly for the camera while getting his upper arm inked.
He decided to pay tribute to his beloved football club, Celtic, with the bold design.
"Getting a 'Glasgow Celtic' tattoo in Auckland to celebrate my beloved team 'You're in My Heart' @celticfc @wallerray_tattoo," he told his 1.2million followers in the caption.
Wife Penny, 52, was among the first to comment on the post. "Amazing celebration to end a great Australian / New Zealand tour," she remarked.
Fans were also quick to react. "Imagine the pressure on this tattoo artist just knowing your inking up one of the best musicians to walk this earth?" one joked.

Just recently, Penny shared a throwback snapshot showing the couple’s two children together, Alastair, 17, and Aiden, 12, as little boys, both wearing the football team's signature green stripes.

A second photo, which was taken from Alastair's Instagram feed, showed the boys all grown-up and standing next to their dad with Celtic scarves wrapped around them. Penny joked in her caption: "Celtic through and through."
Rod is a proud father of eight children – and will soon become a grandfather for the second and third time.
