Salma Hayek is celebrating World Siblings Day with a tribute to her youngest, and only sibling, Sami Hayek.
Though appearances by her brother are few and far in between on the actress' social media, she always makes them count, and put their close bond on full display in her latest tribute to him.
Like Salma, Sami – an architect with his own firm for furniture and space design, Hayek Studio – was born in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. Their parents are Sami Hayek Dominguez and Diana Jiménez Medina.

For World Siblings Day, Salma took to Instagram to share a sweet photograph of her and her brother, 46, crediting him as a "blessing," in her life.
The snapshot sees the two sitting in the back of a car in cozy outfits, smiling ear-to-ear as Salma, who is also cuddling with a furry white dog, leans her head on her younger brother's shoulder.

"Sami you've been a blessing in my life," she wrote, before joking: "Even though I'm sure I decorate yours with chaos. Happy World Siblings Day," adding a red heart emoji next to it.
Fans loved the rare glimpse into Salma's family, and gushed about the photo of the siblings in the comments under the post, writing: "You are both incredible," and: "Sibling love," as well as: "Precious, Happy Siblings Day," plus another fan also added: "I love this pic."

Not long after, Sami also gave his sister some love on his own Instagram account, sharing another photo of the two together in her honor.
The photo sees the brother and sister lying down on a pile of multi-colored sprinkles, which are all over the floor as well as on their hair and clothes.
He wrote: "Hermana, thank you much for this wonderful and colorful journey together," endearingly adding: "I will always be in your corner as you have been in mine."
