Gigi Hadid has shared a rare comment about best friend Taylor Swift, praising the singer for being an "exceptional cook".
The model and TV personality has spoken about how she is raising her two-year-old daughter Khai, telling InStyle that the mother and daughter duo often bake banana bread together. But when asked which of her friends is the best chef, it was Taylor, 33, who was namechecked.
“Taylor Swift is an exceptional cook, and I love her. She also makes a really good bolognese sauce and a really good chili that I love," said Gigi 27.
"I love to cook, but it's also such a treat to get cooked for. And when you have friends that really also care about those special moments and the more intimate spaces and what can really come from putting an effort into making the time for that, I think that that's when you start to find the friends that you really connect with, because you're both working towards manifesting those really special moments.”

Gigi's comments come after reports that Taylor and her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn had ended their romance after six years. The pair's split was reportedly "amicable" and "not dramatic," and sources told ET - who first reported the story - that "the relationship had just run its course".
Taylor and British actor Joe have kept their six-and-a half-year relationship out of the spotlight, and have only publicly mentioned each other in passing. The pair met after being introduced by mutual friends in 2016, and made their first public appearance at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards.
Many of Taylor's songs from the last five years have been about Joe, including 'King of my Heart' from Reputation, 'Lover' from Lover, and 'Mastermind' from Midnights. The Conversations With Friends actor had also contributed seven songs to Taylor's last three albums, and he won a Grammy for his work on her 2020 album Folklore.

Among the tracks that Joe has writing credits on - under the pseudonym William Bowery - are "'Exile' and 'Betty' from Folklore, 'Champagne Problems,' 'Coney Island' and 'Evermore' off Evermore, and 'Sweet Nothing' from her recent release Midnights.
However, Swifties, who are known for their skilled expertise in hunting for Easter eggs throughout the Grammy-winning singer's songs, performances, marketing, and beyond – and have come up with countless theories about her life and work – are already trying to dispel the reports that their "mom and dad" have broken up.
While neither the singer, who is in the middle of her long-awaited Eras Stadium Tour, nor the actor have confirmed reports about their split, fans have already found some indication that they may be true after all.
Joe has not been seen at any of Taylor's latest sold-out concerts, and while Taylor's initial set list featured her song 'invisible string' from the album folklore – a song about hopeful love and lovers being meant to be – she is now instead singing 'the 1' from the same album, a song about past love.
