Coleen Nolan is often an upbeat presence on TV and social media, but she isn't always in a positive mood, as she expressed on Wednesday.

The Loose Women panellist posted a new instalment of her popular online video series Col's Corner on Instagram, where she spoke about her reasons for feeling down, as you can see in the clip below…

The star's fans were quick to relate, with many saying that they appreciated Coleen having a rant sometimes. One commented: "Sometimes it's just nice to have a little rant and that's ok... aaaaaand breathe!"

Others chimed in: "Tell them, Col! [clapping hands emojis]," "Totally agree. I love Col's Corner, makes my day when one comes up and I also love a rant. xx [red heart emoji]," and: "You tell them Col, it's always good to have a little rant…"

It's been a difficult time for Coleen recently, as her sister, Linda, shared last month that her cancer has sadly spread to her brain.

Coleen was visibly upset as she spoke about her sister on an edition of Loose Women, telling her fellow panellists: "I'm so sick of it [cancer]. It just attacks my family all the time, and I know a lot of people go through it but selfishly, you think of yourself. And I'm scared of crying because I don't think I'll stop."

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Linda, who has untreatable secondary breast cancer, told hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley: "I've always been open about my treatment and what's happening in my life."

She went on: "I just want to tell you, from me, that sadly my cancer has now spread to my brain... It's obviously very frightening because there isn't much help for brain cancer at the moment, apart from radiotherapy, which I'm going to be having."
