While once co-stars, Rachel Weisz and her husband Daniel Craig are keeping their relationship away from the cameras.

The couple, who have been married since 2011, first met over a decade before they started dating, as part of the cast of Les Grandes Horizontales at the National Theatre Studio in 1994. They were co-stars once again on the horror film Dream House, during which they quietly started dating, and then once more – seemingly for the last time – on Betrayal on Broadway, in 2013.

While no strangers to being both partners in real life and on stage or in front of the camera, now, they would like to keep the two separate.

During an appearance on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, which will air Sunday, April 16, Rachel, 52, opened up about their position on remaining just husband and wife, not co-stars.

"I think we aren't going to [co-star together] at the moment. I think we really love our private life, as a life, as a family. And then we go to work separately," the actress, who next stars in the psychological thriller series Dead Ringers, said.

"We really enjoyed that experience," she continued, however, she further said: "I think it's nicer to – it also means we can alternate," referring to their busy schedules, both being actors.

She explained: "So I can stay home with the family while he works. We can swap out. If we're both doing something at the same time, it's probably less ideal."
