Former Strictly Come Dancing professional, Aljaz Skorjanec penned a heartfelt farewell for Rylan Clark after his shock departure as host of spin-off show, It Takes Two on Wednesday.
Aljaz's adoring wife, Janette Manrara, who quit the Strictly in 2020, shared the hosting stint with the former X-factor contestant.
Taking to his Instagram account, Aljaz penned: "What a fabulous four years it has been sir! You brought so much glitz and glamour to the best show on telly! You were always my fave ITT presenter [wink emoji]!! Good luck and never forget your dancing shoes!"
His sweet words for the TV presenter were penned alongside a photo of Rylan and his own statement revealing the news to his fans.
It read: "After four fantastic years it's time for me to hang up my glittery jacket and say goodbye to It Takes Two. I've had the best time hosting the show alongside Janette and Zoe and I can't thank the amazing team enough for always putting on a great show.
"I've been welcomed into the Strictly family and will firmly hold that title dear to me. The time has come for me to pass on the baton to someone else and explore what else life has for me. Thank you Strictly, you will always have my heart and dancing feet."
As well as his celebrity friends, it's safe to say that Rylan's fans are sad to see him go. One person penned on Twitter: "During the last season the hubby and I chatted about how you'd really grown into the show and made it your own over the last few years. We will miss you. Good luck," while another person added: "Ooooh. My family won’t be happy mate. They love this show."
A third person joked that he could even take part in Strictly now, adding: "So you can be a contestant on this year's series?"
Rylan's shock exit from the beloved show comes just as Aljaz and Janette are expecting their first child together.
