Taylor Swift fans were shocked when news hit the headlines last week that the Lavender Haze singer had split from her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, but excitement is building in the fandom that the 33-year-old could be seeing someone new.
Rumors are circulating online that Taylor is now dating The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, and as you'd expect from Swifties who are adept at finding Taylor's carefully hidden clues, there's some seriously convincing evidence that pop's latest power couple is a real thing.
The star is known for a controversial rebound relationship - remember her whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston just after her split from Calvin Harris? An exciting new boyfriend isn't entirely unplausible.

Taylor and Matty certainly have history. Let's rewind to 2014 when Taylor was spotted wearing a 1975 tee, before being seen singing along to the band's hit This City in the crowd at a gig.
Fast forward to January 2023, when Taylor shocked fans by appearing at the band's gig in London, performing This City (and Anti-Hero) during a surprise appearance.
Matty referred to Taylor as "the Queen," before she posed with his mother, Loose Women star Denise Welch, proving she's got his family's seal of approval.

Firstly, her and Joe's split was leaked on Matty's birthday, 8 April. A coincidence, maybe. But Taylor fans know that almost nothing is coincidental when it comes to the star.
Matty added further fuel to the fire by apparently referencing Taylor in an onstage speech. He was talking about his decision to quit social media, and appeared to make a nod to Taylor's stadium tour, The Eras Tour, which she's currently on.
"Everything happens in eras," Matty reportedly explained of his decision. "The 1975 is a very eras band. The era of me being an [expletive] is coming to an end."
Fans are going wild on Twitter about the potential new power couple. "I'm being so serious when I say Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are going to start dating now," one wrote, while another commented: "Matty Healy and Taylor Swift single at the same time in the same universe!"

All evidence aside, Matty did once say he felt dating Taylor would be "a de-masculinating, emasculating thing," because of her huge levels of fame.
