Michael Strahan has been on cloud nine over the weekend as he was awarded an incredibly special achievement close to his heart.
The GMA star took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal that he had become a member of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
What's more, Michael chose to share the moment with his beloved family members, including his mother and siblings.
Alongside several photos from the event, he wrote: "Honored to officially be a member of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Grateful to have my mom, brothers, sister, and friends in attendance with me. Congratulations to the entire class of 2023."
Fans were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "So proud of you Michael," while another wrote: "Love this picture of you and your family, your mother looks wonderful," while a third added: "Major congratulations!"

The news of Michael being inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame was first announced in October on GMA.
The retired NFL star's colleagues, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos were more than happy for the star, who retired from football in 2007.
This is just one of many achievements Michael has enjoyed over the past few years. In 2021, the star found out live on GMA that his New York Giants jersey, No.92, would be retiring.

In a past reflective Instagram post, Michael looked back on some of his other achievements to date. He wrote alongside a photo of some of his impressive awards: "It's hard for me to look back because I'm always pushing forward but I just had a moment to reflect on how amazing my life has been. I am so grateful for it all!!

He added: "I feel like I'm just getting started and for those of you that are told to stay in your lane and you can't do this, you can't do that (believe me, I still get NOs to this day) keep pushing forward toward your long term vision.
"Believe in yourself and be willing to put in the time and work to be great at whatever you want or do! The Payoff is coming!"
