Of all of Hollywood's It couples, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are arguably one of the most private when it comes to their personal life.
The two are notoriously mum on anything relating to their relationship, their home life with daughters Esmeralda Amada, eight, and Amada Lee, six, and have only ever done a handful of public appearances together.
So much so, that, despite being together for over ten years, neither Ryan or Eva have ever revealed whether they are married or not.

While there is no public indication, such as a marriage certificate or wedding photos, that they have tied the knot, and the two will most likely never say, there are some hints that indicate that they are.
Up until late 2022, over ten years after the two met while filming The Place Beyond the Pines, which was released in 2012, fans had been led to believe that while they were certainly life partners and parents together, Eva and Ryan weren't married.

However, in November of last year, the mom-of-two gave more indication than ever before that they were in fact married, and had been for some time.

Eva, though born in Miami, is of Cuban descent – both her parents are from the country – and in Hispanic culture, it is traditional for women, as opposed to changing their last name, to simply add "de," which means of, before your husband's last name, i.e., "Eva Mendes of Gosling."
Not long after, during an appearance on Channel Nine's Today while doing press in Australia, Eva referred to Ryan as her husband when she said: "Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband, Ryan, is here and we are having the best time."
Later on while on Australia's Kyle and Jackie O Show, she was asked about the marriage speculation, to which she said: "But who says we weren't already? I like to keep it all mysterious. I'm a very mysterious woman," also revealing that she got her "de Gosling" tattoo "years ago."
