David Beckham honoured his wife Victoria Beckham on Monday, as she celebrated her 49th birthday.
Sharing a rare photo of the pair together, the former footballer wrote: "Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife and mummy x someone who inspires us every single day. We love you and you deserve to have the most perfect day. Happy Birthday."
In the black and white photo from years ago, David can be seen sweetly kissing Victoria's nose while she smiles from ear to ear – something her fans rarely see nowadays and jokingly tease her about.
Fans and friends were quick to appreciate the photo, with Loren Ridinger commenting: "Happy birthday @victoriabeckham we love you. And this picture is beautiful."
Another added: "Always lovely when she smiles! Happy birthday, Victoria!" Whilst a third remarked: "Wow So Sweet."
Victoria is renowned for her 'no smiling' rule and her signature pout - but she has been spotted sporting a toothy grin on a select few occasions.
In 2019, the fashion designer revealed that she had her "armour" on by not smiling for the cameras – but that she had softened her rules over the years.

Though fans have criticised her for failing to raise a smile on many occasions, the designer certainly knows how to poke fun at herself and her stoic pout – even designing a slogan T-shirt that read 'fashion stole my smile' back in 2017.

Her footballer son, Romeo, who recently relocated to the UK after spending a few years in Miami, shared a photo of them together on holiday and added: "Happy birthday to the best mum out there love you so much."
