Reese Witherspoon, 47, faced an uphill battle when announcing her separation from her estranged husband and CAA talent agent Jim Toth, 52.
The couple released a joint statement last month, revealing the difficult decision they had made.
According to People, the producer, despite the struggle, has "no regrets" and is now focusing on her children and work.
The outlet claimed that the divorce decision was not an easy one for her. It was rough to reach the decision and to announce it.
Reese and Jim are parents to their 10-year-old son, Tennessee James. The Sweet Home Alabama actress also has two children, Ava, 23, and Deacon, 19, from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
According to the publication, Reese has a strong support system in her friends and is currently co-parenting with Jim without any drama.
Reese and Jim announced their decision to divorce last month.
The former couple released a joint Instagram statement on March 24, emphasizing their continued love and respect for each other: "We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together."
Reese officially filed for divorce on April 1. While Reese reportedly did not have a prenup for her first marriage, she did put one in place ahead of exchanging vows with Jim.
She has confirmed she will submit their prenup, which provides "adequate and sufficient provisions" for their assets and debts, to the judge.
Like most celebrities, the exact details of their assets have not been revealed, but according to Forbes, Reese is worth around $116 million, which includes around $20 million from 10 episodes of The Morning Show.
The Hello Sunshine founder also sold a majority stake in her production company in August 2021 - a deal which reportedly valued the company at $900 million. Meanwhile, Jim is worth about $20 million.
The news comes after Reese reunited with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe, to support their son Deacon Phillippe at a significant career milestone.
The former couple attended Deacon's album release party at Melroseplace in Los Angeles, where the 19-year-old celebrated the launch of his debut LP, "A New Earth," on April 14.
Despite the recent changes in her personal life, Reese appeared all smiles as she and Ryan came together to celebrate their son's accomplishment.
This reunion underscores their commitment to co-parenting and maintaining a supportive family environment for their children.
Deacon also shared his own post, featuring both his parents at the party.
In the photos, the Legally Blonde actress, 47, can be seen hugging her son and smiling with daughter Ava Phillippe, 23.
Reese and Ryan, who starred together in Cruel Intentions, married in 1999 and welcomed Ava and Deacon before ultimately divorcing in 2006.
Following their split, Phillippe had a daughter, Kai, 11, with Alexis Knapp, while Reese went on to marry Jim in 2011.
