Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s recent hangouts have fans buzzing about a potential romance between the two stars.
According to Entertainment Tonight that the pair are indeed dating, though the relationship is still in its early stages and not yet serious.
Their source also revealed why the couple chose not to go public at Coachella and hinted at who might have brought them together.
"It's not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It's been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It's new and exciting for Kylie and she's having a lot of fun," the insider shared.
Although both stars attended Coachella, they opted not to reveal their relationship to the public just yet.
The source explained: "Kylie decided she didn't want to make things public with Timothée this past weekend at Coachella, and really just wanted to chill and have fun with her friends."
As for how the duo met, the insider suggested that Kendall Jenner, Kylie's sister, played a role in connecting them. "Timothée is also friends with Kendall, so it's been easy for Kylie to integrate him into her life," the source said.
Fueling the dating rumors, Kylie's car was spotted at Chalamet's house on Thursday.
Celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi first ignited speculation about the pair earlier this month when multiple users claimed that Kylie and Timothee have been secretly seeing each other.
Us Weekly also received information about the couple’s budding romance.
A source told the outlet: "Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren't that serious. However, she's enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go. Things are very new, so it's hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees."
The insider added: "Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect. He's very charming and he makes her laugh, and he's easy to talk to.
“He's not like any of the other guys she's dated before and although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry."
News of Kylie's breakup from on-again, off-again boyfriend Travis Scott emerged in January. The couple split up once before in 2019, but remained close.
Talking to Harper's Bazaar in March 2020, Kylie explained how she looked to her parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner's parenting example for inspiration with how she and Travis should take care of their daughter Stormi, despite their split.
"[Travis and I] both love Stormi and want what’s best for her", she began. "We stay connected and coordinated.
"I think about [my parents], in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi".
The former pair share two children together: five-year-old daughter Stormi, and one-year-old son Aire.
