Ryan Gosling has been taking the world by storm once again since his first debut as Ken for the upcoming Barbie movie, but took things to a grungier level for his latest appearance.
The actor starred in the latest Tag Heuer commercial titled "The Chase for Carrera," in which he revisited his darker style and fast-paced attitude akin to the kind he explored in 2011's Drive.
Starring alongside SNL star Vanessa Bayer, it features Ryan playing himself as he drives off with one of the luxury brand's premium pieces as Vanessa (playing "The Prop Master") gives chase.
Following a star-studded premiere, the spot quickly went viral and caught the attention of none other than Ryan's doting partner of 12 years, Eva Mendes.

The 49-year-old took to Instagram with a clip from the commercial that featured several behind-the-scenes bloopers, many of which primarily saw Ryan messing up his lines or goofing around on set.
The scenes provided for a more candid look at the usually suave star's sillier side, and Eva couldn't stop herself from gushing over them.
"Love this BTS for @tagheuer commercial with one of my favorites Vanessa and of course my all time favorite Por Vida [transl: For Life] RG," she wrote.
Fans found the blooper reel hilarious, with Teresa Palmer commenting: "This is so funny!!! I remember when they did this!"

Another quipped: "I love his laugh and what you call him!! That's your Ken, he is giving kenergy," while one wrote: "There's nothing Ryan can't do, he has it all going on and of course, he's drop dead gorgeous." The official Tag Heuer team even left a comment which read: "Thank you for sharing, Eva. We're so pleased you enjoyed it as much as us!"
The 42-year-old has been with Eva since 2011, when they first met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), and they're now parents to two daughters, Esmeralda, eight, and Amada, six.
While Ryan is not on social media, Eva is quite active and frequently will shout out her longtime partner, doing so back in October as well when the Crazy, Stupid, Love actor starred in a spot for Gucci, simply calling him: "My Magic Man."
