Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeney break silence on Angus Cloud's death – see all the Euphoria stars' tributes

Zendaya and Maude's characters were especially close to Angus' Fezco on the hit HBO show

Euphoria lead star Zendaya, plus co-stars Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeney, and more, have paid tribute to co-star Angus Cloud, who passed away Sunday at age 25.

In a statement to TMZ, his family said: "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss."

Taking to Instagram, Zendaya wrote: "Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor)."

She continued: "I'm so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I'm smiling now just thinking of it).

"I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…'they could light up any room they entered' but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it."

Zendaya, 26, and Angus both grew up in Oakland, California, and first crossed paths before becoming co-stars when they were students at the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts in the early 2010s.

Her tribute further read: "I'd like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment."

She concluded: "My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone."

Angus' on-screen brother Javon Walton, who starred as Ashtray, shared a photo of the two together and wrote: "Rest easy brother." He also shared another photo of them on his Instagram Stories and wrote: "Forever family."

Maude, whose character of Lexi developed a close, borderline romantic bond with Angus' Fez, shared several behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram of the two together, and wrote: "Angus was the funniest person ever. I would get so excited to see on the schedule that we would be working together because I knew we'd have the best day, laughing so hard. He was the sweetest and made everyone around him so happy. He was just the best. Words can't really capture how magical of a person he was. My heart is broken."

Sydney Sweeney, whose character is Cassie, Lexi's sister, shared a round-up up photos of their time on set and beyond, and wrote: "Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to post, and I'm struggling to find all the words. You will be missed more than you know, but I'm so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I'm sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same."

Hunter Schafer, who played Jules, wrote shared a polaroid of Angus, and wrote: "Angus was a sunshine. To have known his warmth, his light, and his love was nothing short of a gift. I'm so grateful to have shared so many enormous fits of laughter, so many sweet moments, and the joy of getting to make something together that we loved so much."

Colman Domingo, who played Rue's mentor Ali Muhammed, wrote on his Instagram Stories: "Couldn't be more real, original and sweet, loved this kid. Always smiles. I hope this sensitive soul is at rest. Check on loved ones. Check on them." Plus, sharing a photo of the cast on the red carpet, he also wrote: "And that was his smile. That was him. May he rest sweetly in peace."

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson told Deadline: "There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon," adding: "He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family."

Storm's tribute to Angus

Storm Reid, who starred as Rue's sister Gia, first shared a clip of a scene between Angus and Maude Apatow, who played Lexi, and wrote: "The tears just won't stop." She then wrote: "What a tremendous loss for so many of us. Can't seem to wrap my head around it."

Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi's character's dad Cal, wrote on his Stories: "He was a one off. I'm truly sad."
