We finally have our Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show performer! The NFL has dropped a slew of new promotional videos to reveal that Usher will be this year's headliner.

The 44-year-old R&B hitmaker starred in a series of promotional spots by Apple Music featuring Kim Kardashian, Deion Sanders, and Marshawn Lynch.

This year's Halftime Show will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada on February 11, 2024. Usher will directly follow Rihanna, who broke the internet when she announced she was pregnant with her second child during her own Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.

Fans reacted to the announcement with much enthusiasm, leaving comments like: "Every husband about to lose their wife after halftime," and: "Goated announcement," as well as: "This is better news than the *NSYNC reunion."

One even gushed: "Sooooo good!!! The marketing is A1!!!! This might be just as exciting as Beyoncé's super bowl!!!" while another added: "Too many hits!! Let's goooo."

This year's show will be sponsored by Apple Music and Jay-Z's Roc Nation, with the latter releasing a statement which reads: "Usher is the ultimate artist and showman.

"Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he's been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can't wait to see the magic."

Usher has a huge back catalog of hits to choose from

This is the fourth year in a row that the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer has found success in the R&B genre, following Rihanna, the Dr. Dre-headlined show (which featured Mary J. Blige as a co-headliner), and The Weeknd.

Usher has a total of 18 top ten hits in the United States alone, including a whopping nine number ones like "Yeah!," "My Boo," "Burn," and "O.M.G.," featuring collaborators like Lil Jon, will.i.am, and Alicia Keys, which could prove to be crucial when it comes to deciding on a coveted guest spot for the show.
