Janette Manrara can't get enough of her daughter, Lyra, and took to social media with a brand new photo of her little one on Tuesday.
The infant looked so grown up and incredibly joyful wearing a colourful baby grow adorned with multicoloured horizontal stripes. The little one's mood was equally as effervescent as she was captured mid-giggle by her adoring mother.
Captioning the post, she penned: "Colors and giggles [rainbow emoji]," whilst her daughter was lying on her baby mat.
The happy post couldn't have been further from Jannette's update at the weekend when she revealed her anguish as she struggled to make it home to see her daughter after working in London. Janette opened up about how train delays missed the opportunity to see her baby girl when she got home.
When she finally was on a train back to her Cheshire home, she wrote: "The train just left, won't be home much later to see Lyra now. It happens, and we deal with it. But sending a little love to working parents. It's tough being away especially when things happen that are out of your control. But we do what we must, your baby will love you for providing for them. Shower them with so much love whenever you get home always! I know I will when I get home to Lyra.
"I know it's hard and there's no one-way system to parenting. No one can judge!! So keep being strong and doing what you must. Remember you are amazing!!! You're doing a great job, you've got this!"
The words were shared as part of a video Janette filmed of herself when her train home finally arrived. See the moment in the video below.
Janette and Aljaz welcomed Lyra back in July this year and shared the news with a heartfelt photo from the hospital. Alongside the snap read the words Lyra Rose Skorjanec July 28, 2023," alongside a rose emoji.
Talking to HELLO! In an exclusive interview after their little one's arrival he said of his daughter: "Every single day is a pinch-yourself moment," he said. "Of course, it's very demanding, but the beautiful moments make all the sleepless nights worth it, like when I see her happy and smiling and I’m looking at her with such excitement and anticipation to see what she’s going to do next."
