James Martin is currently touring the nation and while he is thrilling audiences with his cooking demonstrations, his tour has also come with a few surprises, including live music sections.
During a stop in Oxford on Tuesday evening, James uploaded a shot from the closing of the show where he stood surrounded by smoke with a microphone in front of him and a guitar strapped around his shoulder. A fellow performer also stood in front of a microphone with an instrument, while a fully set dining table separated the pair as the room filled with smoke.
Audience members had no doubt got into the mood for the performance as they lifted their phones into the air with the torches on. In his caption, a stunned James wrote: "Wow Oxford that was special thank you! What fun! Swansea tomorrow, can't wait."
Fans were quick to support the popular chef, as one penned: "What a wonderful work he does! And he has arrived at a point in his career and his life, where he can choose what he really wants to do, and how he wants to do it! Its wonderful! Congratulations! You can be really satisfied!"
Meanwhile, a second teased: "Get back in the kitchen!!!! Only joking, so happy for you that you can take the show on the road, you bring a lot of joy to people and that's what it’s all about (sounds a bit like the Hokey Cokey!!)"
A third added: "Absolutely fabulous night, so much fun. Haven't laughed like that for ages," while a fourth shared: "Absolutely incredible night last night, huge thanks to James, Sam and the team," and a fifth commented: "Wow, looks fantastic glad you had fun in Oxford. Continue on James still living in hopes you'll come to Australia."
James can usually count on his fans for their support, and many were quick to compliment him on his slimmed-down appearance when he fronted an episode of Saturday Morning alongside Joss Stone.
One remarked: "Looking good James!!" Another said: "James Martin has always been a stunner. More so as he grows older." A third post read: "Lost weight James looking [three flame emojis]."
James has previously opened up about his healthy lifestyle, saying how eating fish twice a day is one of the game-changing adaptions he has made to maintain his trim figure - and he's not even making super complicated fish dishes.
