Music's biggest night, the 2024 Grammys became Taylor Swift's night as the global superstar made history as the only person to ever win Album of the Year four times, scooping the award for Midnights, and also picking up Best Pop Album - her 13th Grammy - and using that moment to announce she would be releasing her 13th album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The 34-year-old singer had previously won the major awards three times for Fearless (2009), 1989 (2015), and Folklore (2021). She remains the only solo female artist to have ever won more than twice.

Watch Taylor's speech here:

Taylor Swift makes Grammys history

"I get to work with one of my best friends, who is also a once in a generation producer, Jack Antonoff, I am so lucky," she began as she accepted Album of the Year, before thanking her collaborators and praising the work of Lana del Rey.

"This is one of the best moments of my life, but I feel this happy when I finish a song or when I crack the code to a bridge I love, or when I am shotlisting a music video, or when I am rehearsing with my dancers or band, or getting ready to go to Tokyo for a show. For me, the award is the work," she continued. "All I want to do is to keep doing this. I love it so much... so thank you for giving me the opportunity to keep doing what I love."

She later also picked up Record of the Year, and reminded everyone watching that their lives are "spectacular' and that winning a Grammy doesn't make anyone better.
