Nicole Kidman has had a tumultuous year, between receiving an honor at the 49th American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Gala and the passing of her mother. Fortunately, her family has been there for her through the good and the bad.
Not only has the Big Little Lies actress received support from her longtime husband Keith Urban, and their daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, but her sister Antonia.
Nicole is notably close with her younger sister, who has supported her at a number of red carpet events — even as she received her lifetime achievement award — as well as through the ups and downs of life.
"She's my best friend. I always say to her that I'm always there for her," the actress said of her sister to The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007. "We've been through a lot together, she and I."

Antonia Kidman
Antonia, 54, is Nicole's younger sister, born to parents Anthony Kidman and Janelle Glenny on July 14, 1970.
Unlike Nicole – who was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i in 1967, where both her parents were studying at the time – Antonia was born in Melbourne, Australia, and both were later raised in Sydney.
While her sister is an Oscar-winning actress, Antonia is winning awards for her work in journalism. She began her career with Australian channel Nine Network, and later worked as a news reporter for NBN Television.

She also hosted an instructional parenting series for W. Channel, released a work-out video titled Antonia Fitness Yoga: The Power And Style of Ashtanga, as well as two books about parenting, Feeding Fussy Kids as well as The Simple Things: Creating an Organised Home, a Happy Family and A Life Worth Living.
In 2008, she received the "Favorite Female Personality" award at the ASTRA Awards, an awards show dedicated to talent within Australian subscription television.
Nicole and Antonia are so close that during the COVID-19 pandemic, they moved in together for a "commune-like" form of living, along with their mother. Nicole told Marie Claire Australia: "I rang Ant and asked her to move in with the girls and she did, and brought along her kids. That's special. It's the nature of what we're all having to do now."

Nicole's six nieces and nephews
Antonia has six children altogether, four of which she shared with ex-husband Angus Hawley. The former couple had Lucia, Hamish, James and Sybella together.
The eldest, Lucia, has followed in her mom's footsteps as a journalist as a host on Australia’s 7Bravo network and red carpet presenter for Live From E!.
Antonia and Angus divorced two months after Sybella's birth, with her ex-husband passing away from a heart attack in April 2015, aged 46.
