The 2024 election is here, and Americans are heading to the polls to vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
The pair only had one televisted debate, and in the minutes after came Taylor Swift's formal endorsement of Kamala Harris; eyes have been on the singer songwriter all year regarding who she would vote for, truly speaking to the sheer level of influence she has in the country.
But Taylor isn't the only high profile celebrity to endorse a presidential candidate this year.
From George Clooney to Kid Rock, here are the biggest celebrity endorsements of 2024.
Taylor Swift
"Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most," Taylor wrote on social media.
"As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country."
The Tortured Poets Department singer continued: "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."
Hulk Hogan
Appearing at the Republican National Convention, Hulk Hogan ripped off his shirt on stage to reveal a Trump-Vance campaign shirt underneath. He called Trump a "hero" and the "greatest president of the United States."
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez appeared at a rally with Kamala Harris in the closing days of the election campaign.
"This is the most important stage I've ever been on," she told attendees and those wathcing online.
"We are on the brink of an election that demands a choice; a choice between backwards and forwards, a choice between past and future, a choice between divided and united," she said.
"We should be upset; we should be scared and outraged. Our pain matters. We matter, you matter; your voice and your vote matter."
The mother of two went on to make a powerful statement about the role of women and Latinos in the upcoming election.
"I believe in the power of women," she said passionately. "I believe that women have the power to make the difference in this election."
Russell Brand
British personality Russell Brand shared his support for Trump during an episode of his self-hosted Stay Free with Russell Brand podcast.
He told listeners: "If you care about freedom, I don’t know how you could do anything other than vote for Donald Trump for precisely the reasons that they claim that you can’t.”
George Clooney
Loyal Democrat George Clooney divided many when he wrote an op-ed in the New York Times directed at President Joe Biden, encouraging him to stand down as the 2024 presidential candidate.
Following Kamala Harris stepping up as presidential candidate, Clooney told CNN: "President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest."
Kid Rock
The musician has long been vocal about his support of Donald Trump. While at the republican national conference, he revamped his song "American Bad Ass" to refer to the former president.
John Legend
Not only did he perform at the Democratic National Convention in 2024, John Legend has vocally supported Kamala, posting that he was "so ready" for a Harris presidency.
Elon Musk
Billionaire Elon Musk has vocally supported Donald Trump on X (formerly known as Twitter), sharing AI generated images of the former president, as well as a number of memes. Some of his posts about Kamala have been accused of being misinformative.
Charli xcx
British musician Charli xcx has been having a moment all year following the release of her album Brat. As 2024's hottest season was declared 'Brat summer', Charli gave the ultimate endorsement for Kamala by tweeting: "Kamala IS brat", read by over 50 million people.
Harrison Butker
Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker, 29, publicly announced his support of Trump in October, saying: "I think Donald Trump is the most pro-life president."
Katy Perry

Mel Gibson
Braveheart actor Mel Gibson, 68, said: “I know what it’ll be like if we let [Kamala] in. And that ain’t good. Miserable track record. No policies to speak of."
He also claimed Kamala has "the IQ of a fence post".
Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny shared his support for Harris in the days after a Trump-endorsed comedian called Puerto Rico "garbage" during a rally.
The Puerto Rican singer shared an emotional video showing the beauty of the island, captioning it: "Garbage".
In the video, he included clips from Harris who said: “I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and a competent leader. He abandoned the island, tried to block aid after back-to-back devastating hurricanes and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults.”
