As Jessica Ennis-Hill competed in the javelin at the Loughborough International on Sunday, two very special fans were looking on from the sidelines – her ten-month-old son Reggie, and her father Vinnie.Baby Reggie smiled happily as he watched his 29-year-old mum at work while cradled in the arms of his grandfather.The adorable tot was dressed in a pair of jeans, grey jumper and a blue puffer jacket, holding on closely to Sophie the giraffe. His grandfather Vinnie looked the picture of pride as he watched his daughter at work on the field.
Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica looked as at ease as ever back on the track at the Paula Radcliffe Stadium in Loughborough, showing off toned limbs and super defined abs just ten months after giving birth to her first child with childhood sweetheart and husband Andy Hill.
The track and field star also took part in the women's long jump, coming in third place with 6.16m.
Jessica made a stylish comeback to the sport world last Saturday following maternity leave in style last Saturday, with an audience of 25,000 turning out at the Great City Games in Manchester to cheer her on.
© Photo: Getty ImagesSpeaking about the changes pregnancy had brought about, she told Manchester Evening News: "Your six pack does separate and that's got to come back together," continuing, "It's taken a while (to get back to competitive fitness) and I will have to build on it".The sportswoman, who has received a CBE for her services to athletics, looks forward to defending her Olympic heptathlon title in Rio in 2016.
"I am 100 per cent set on returning to full time athletics once our baby is born and go for a second gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 – that challenge really excites me," said Jessica when she announced her pregnancy.
