Mel B has maintained a dignified silence following rumours that she has left her husband of seven years, Stephen Belafonte. The X Factor judge, who is normally active on both Twitter and Instagram, has not addressed rumours about her relationship or her health after she was rushed to hospital with stomach pains and missed Saturday night's live final. The 39-year-old returned to the show on Sunday evening, but sparked concern amongst fans over her appearance, with many commenting that she didn't look well. When host Dermot O' Leary asked if she was better, Mel said: "Yes – ish". Mel was not wearing her wedding ring when she returned to the show, and according to The Sun, she has since packed up her belongings and left the home the couple have been sharing in London after their arguing became too much to bear.

The paper also reports that Mel's family and friends are now urging her to split from Stephen for good. Further concerns have mounted over the couple's marriage after it was revealed that Mel was three hours late for an interview with Grazia magazine following a fall out with Stephen. The former Spice Girl revealed: "I had a big row with my husband about stupid stuff". The rumours come just weeks after the couple spoke to HELLO! magazine about their relationship, with Mel saying that her husband is the centre of her world.

Speaking of the moment they took their vows, the 39-year-old mother-of-three said: "I looked right in his eyes and I knew this was the one man for the rest of my life. "He's the first man I've ever trusted, he's my rock and he's the beginning and the end of who I am." While Mel has stayed quiet on social media, husband Stephen spoke out on Monday following comments from fans about her appearance on the show. "Mel was very ill a bunch of doctors helped her get better if fans can't just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans of @OfficialMelB", he tweeted.
