Phil Collins and his ex-wife Orianne may have gone through a £25million divorce just a few years ago, but she says that against all odds they are planning to tie the knot again following their reconciliation.
The couple rekindled their relationship last year, and Orianne says they are "determined" to marry again, this time with their two sons Matthew and Nicholas present.
Orianne says she and Phil are planning to marry again
Speaking to Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick, she said: "I call Phil now again as my husband. We are so close that it makes no difference whether we are married. But we are determined to get married one day a second time."
Orianne revealed that she is already planning the wedding, and says it will be a more intimate affair than the extravagant three-day ceremony the couple hosted in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1999.
"The important difference is that now our children can be there," Orianne explained. "I imagine the next celebration will be more familiar and smaller. On our first wedding in 1999 in Lausanne, we had to invite many more people to not disappoint anyone."
The couple first tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 1999
Phil revealed in January that he had been living in Miami with his ex-wife for the last six months after they got back together. In an interview with Billboard, the 64-year-old was asked about his struggle with alcohol addiction and told the magazine: "I'm all right now. I bought a house (in Miami) about six months ago. I'm actually back with my third wife – I haven't really talked about it.
"We've been together for a while, and nobody's noticed."
The couple were first married in 1999, before announcing their separation in March 2006. Their divorce was finalised in August 2008, and Phil continued to live in their home in Switzerland, while his wife and their children relocated to Miami.
