Prince Harry's former flames, Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy, instantly hit it off when their paths crossed at a society party this week. The two blondes were pictured laughing and even affectionately clasping hands as they mingled at the Serpentine Summer Party at Kensington Gardens on Wednesday evening.

Both ladies looked stunning for the glamorous event. Former lawyer Chelsy was dressed in a black, white and green halterneck dress, featuring a thigh-high split, and with her shoulder-length hair tousled into loose curls. The 30-year-old Zimbabwean, who recently launched her own luxury jewellery line, dated Harry for seven years, between 2004 until 2011.

Cressida, meanwhile, stunned in a black and gold embroidered gown, which was slashed to the navel and open at the back. The 27-year-old actress dated Harry for two years before their split in April 2014 – and like Chelsy, remains on very good terms with the prince.

Cressida and Chelsy were pictured deep in conversation with socialite Irene Forte at the party, and it is thought it was Irene who introduced the pair. Irene, the daughter of Sir Rocco Forte, is a very close friend of Chelsy, and is also dating Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, Cressida's half-brother.

Chelsy recently opened up about her relationship with Harry, and admitted she "couldn't cope" with the intense scrutiny their romance received.

"It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable," she told The Times. "I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn't cope… I was trying to be a normal kid, and it was horrible."

Chelsy also revealed that she retreated to her native Zimbabwe to handle the breakup in 2010, adding: "It was nuts. That's also why I wanted to go back to Africa. Now it's calm, it's fine." But she insisted she will always remain close to the prince. "I think we will always be good friends," she said.
