Although Tom from the Great British Bake Off was the latest contestant to leave the competition after coming last for 'Dessert Week', the baker seems to be in great spirits – and even shared a snap of himself and his wife enjoying fougasse bread snacks at the cinema.
One of the baker's best moments in the show was when he revealed that he was well versed with making fougasse bread as he regularly takes it to the cinema as his favourite snack, sparking an hilarious reaction from Twitter at the time.

One viewer wrote: "Gutted for @Tom_gilliford though. Such a dude. I went to the cinema this week and my popcorn felt so inadequate after Tom's fougasse."
"I also need to note for posterity that I am more than happy to go on a cinema date with Tom & his fougasse," another added.
Tom's wife Kate shared a sneaky snap of the fougasse hidden in her bag, writing: "Heading to cinema with @Tom_gilliford, have our sneaky fugasse in handbag," while Tom shared a selfie of himself grinning while holding up the bread in front of the screening room, writing: "Got my cinema snack ready! @wittertainment I maintain it doesn't break the rules #GBBO."

Although Tom had won Star Baker twice throughout the competition, he left the competition last week after his show-stopper mini mousses failed to impress the judges. Speaking about his time on the show, he said: "The curse of the star baker well and truly struck for me after winning star baker for the second time in last week’s episode.

"But I was so pleased just to get onto the show in the first place, and my wife said I wouldn’t get to episode two! My whole aim was to get through to bread week, and as I watch it back now, I still wonder how I got this far."
