The much-anticipated sequel to Love Actually hit TV screens on Friday night with an all-star cast for Comic Relief. Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth were back in the short ten-minute film catching up with their characters from 14 years ago. The biggest surprise of the night came from supermodel Kate Moss, who made an appearance as Mark’s (Andrew Lincoln) wife. The romantic was back with his cue cards at Juliet’s (Keira) doorstep once again – but this time to introduce his new wife, Kate Moss.
The Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) was as funny as ever, dancing around No.10 to Hotline Bling and falling down the stairs. “How many times have I told you to not dance down the stairs?” said his girlfriend Natalie (Martine McCutcheon). Meanwhile, Jamie (Colin Firth) is still happy with his Portuguese wife. They now have three children and during the film she tells him she’s expecting again! And Daniel (Liam Neeson) is overjoyed when his son Sam reveals that his childhood crush, Joanna, is now his girlfriend. “I was wondering if I could ask for your son’s hand in marriage, please?” she says to Daniel. Great stuff!
