Melanie Sykes, who shot her first lingerie campaign earlier this year, is smouldering in a series of shots for a new venture.Looking incredible at 43, the TV presenter and model is dressed in an array of beautiful figure-hugging gowns as she lies back on an ornate chaise lounge and an armchair in a setting of quintessential decadence.
In one shot, the mum-of-two is dazzling in a sparkling sequin-adorned dress, surrounded by three-tiered cake stands and numerous trays filled with mouthwatering cupcakes, macaroons, cakes and tarts.A smoky eye, nude lips and picture-perfect brunette curls complete the stunning shots. The images are part of a new campaign that see Melanie join in the baking furore that has taken the nation by storm since judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood took over the silver screen on Tuesday evenings with Great British Bake Off.
Melanie, who is lending her sweet tones to 'talking packs' of Tate & Lyle sugar, says that becoming the voice for the brand "has truly opened my eyes to what an incredible world baking is. "I'm hoping that seeing my videos on Talking Packs of Tate & Lyle Sugars will give bakers and shoppers the confidence to pick up more than just a bag of their regular white sugar, and be more creative in the kitchen."
Recent research showed that almost one in ten Britons believe Muscovado is an alcoholic beverage and nearly half don't know what it is.Through their smartphones, bakers inspired by the Great British Bake Off will have access to videos of Melanie pronouncing the names of the sugars, as well as explaining how to use them.
