The rosé wine, sold at $28 (£17.50) a bottle, has been described as "refined and elegant, offering pure and concentrated flavours of dried red berry, tangerine and melon. "Managing Editor Kim Marcus added, "The focused finish features flint and spice notes, with a hint of cream".Developed at the Oscar-winning actors' 1,200-acre country estate, Chateau Miraval in the south of France, the wine was a huge success when it debuted online in March – the first 6,000 bottles sold out in just five hours. And the wine continues to boom, with a single autographed barrel (the equivalent to about 300 bottles) fetching more than $13,000 (about double its market value) at a charity auction in Provence earlier this month, according to Wine Spectator.

Brad and Angelina partnered with the Perrin family, a fifth-generation winemaking brood located in France's Provence region, to develop their own rosé wine under the Jolie-Pitt & Perrin brand back in 2012.The Hollywood stars and parents of six children, Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, have played a significant part in the development of their wine, even participating in wine-blending classes to help make the rosé.The 35-bedroom French Château, home to their award-winning wine, has been one of the family's favourite holiday destinations since 2008. Brad even proposed to his long-term girlfriend Angelina there in early 2012.
