Stars of British TV and radio, Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly, Nick Grimshaw, Matt Baker, Alex Jones and Sir Terry Wogan have joined forces to encourage the nation to don their oven gloves and bake one of Britain's most-loved cakes in aid of BBC Children in Need. The six celebrities are each championing one of Britain's favourite cakes, including fruit, chocolate and lemon drizzle, and asking the public to become baking heros by getting behind their team and holding a bake sale with their chosen cake to support the 2014 Appeal

From Celebrity Juice panelist Fearne Cotton calling upon the nation to join #TeamCarrotCake to Strictly's Tess Daly backing #TeamVictoriaSponge, check out the gallery of cake teams to help decide which sweet sponge takes your fancy.
