Kate Upton has revealed the secrets behind her diet that keep her looking and feeling great. The 22-year-old, who is one of the world's top models and the most Googled Kate – beating supermodel Kate Moss and the royal Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton – lives by the ABC rule: no alcohol, bread or processed carbohydrates.She recently told the Evening Standard magazine that she follows a healthy diet and disciplined exercise regime with her personal trainer David Kirsch – who has worked with the likes of Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Liv Tyler.
Kate Upton recently shared details of her healthy diet that is about "being strong, having the strength to work ten-hour days"A typical "good" day kicks off with "a breakfast of scrambled eggs (one white, one whole) with spinach and green tea," she says. Lunch is quinoa with herb-crusted grilled chicken and grilled vegetables, and dinner is "usually sashimi or a kale salad with grilled salmon and cashews".Healthy snacks include "ten raw almonds and a green juice" mid-morning followed by a protein bar in the afternoon.The model and actress, who at a size 12 is curvier than most other models, said that her diet is about eating healthily and "being strong, having the strength to work ten-hour days".
Kate Upton shared a glimpse of her healthy eating regime with fans recently on InstagramIt's not all uber healthy-eating though – the blonde bombshell reveals that she does allow herself the occasional cheat day. But, before a big shoot or film scene she also undertakes a 48-hour juice cleanse.
She is also keen to act as a role model for young women. She said: "I'm happy to be seen as a good example, if I can help girls who are going through body image issues, I think that's amazing."
