You know it's the start of the Christmas period when Starbucks release their red cups!
The new festive range landed on Thursday morning, 45 days before the national holiday.
The coffee giants made the big announcement on Twitter, posting a fun and cheery video of their new cups. "We crafted coffee. You made it art. Cups warm a hand, beauty warms the heart. #RedCups," they captioned the clip.
The cups were designed by customers from all over the world and feature all things Christmassy, from baubles and snowflakes to trees, reindeers, gold stars and a nativity set.
"Spread joy," "Let there be peace" and even "Happy New Year" are some of the slogans that have been ornately printed on the cups.
The joyful designs come after some customers complained about the lack of cheer that went into last year's cups. Starbucks opted for the very minimalist design of plain red cups, which led some customers to doodle and draw on them, hence inspiring this year's competition.
Starbucks launched an Instagram campaign asking people to create their own designs. In just eight days, 1,200 sketches were submitted from 13 countries.
The company decided on 13 different versions for this festive period.
To mark the start of the red cup season, Starbucks is holding a 'buy one, share one' offer on their holiday drinks from 10 to 14 November, from 2-5pm worldwide.
