Take a peek inside Gwyneth Paltrow's perfectly-organised pantry

Gwyneth Paltrow has given fans a glimpse inside her pantry, and from what we can tell it's positively perfect. The 44-year-old opened the doors to her kitchen closet as part of her resolution to get organized in 2017. Teaming up with Nashville-based Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin of The Home Edit, she gutted the space entirely.

Gwyneth's pantry is extremely organised

The result of her hard work is an enviable area that’s full of matching labelled jars and bins, easy-to-reach baskets for Gwyneth’s two children (Apple, 12, and Moses, 10) and compartments full of healthy snacks and food products. Here are some of the tips from Clea and Joanna that the Shakespeare in Love star used to achieve the sensational space:

Use bins: "Have bins labeled "pasta" and "cereal" to make unloading groceries quick and easy."

Take stock: "If you buy in bulk, make sure to have space for overflow items that don’t fit into your bins. If you have a huge amount of snacks, devote a couple of bins to those items so you aren’t cramming everything into a single container."

Organise appropriately: "Think about the items you use every day, the items you use occasionally, and the items you almost never use. For instance, if you eat cereal every day, keep a breakfast bin in easy reach."

Divide your pantry: "Almost every pantry can be divided into breakfast, dinner, snacks, sweet snacks, baking, and cooking. By grouping items into large categories you won’t get stuck with something that doesn’t have a home."

Speaking to Goop, Clea and Joanna went on to discuss one of the biggest mistakes people make when decluttering their homes: not knowing the difference between organising and cleaning. "Cleaning up a room doesn’t mean you’ve created sustainable systems, so the mess is bound to reappear. If you take the time to think through how you use your space, you can create solutions that you’ll be able to maintain." That's where using bins, baskets and lots of labels - like the ones Gwyneth used - come in.

In the piece, the duo also offered tips on how to clean every room in the home -- from kids' cupboards to the master bedroom. Check it out here!
