This Morning fans noticed a blunder on the show's Instagram page! Find out what here…

February 3, 2017

Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield might need to keep a closer eye on the food at This Morning! Eagle-eyed fans spotted that there was something off in a recent photo posted on the ITV show's Instagram page. The close-up snap gave fans a glimpse into the set's kitchen with a line of labelled jars, accompanied with the caption: "Hands up who likes a tidy pantry! #tidypantry #labels #expirydate #thismorning."

The expiry dates are clearly marked on the jars, and fans immediately noticed that the jar of flour in the studio had passed its sell-by date of 2016. "You need new flour!" wrote one fan, while another quipped, "Looks like your flours outta date!" However, many still praised the crew for their organisational skills. "Oh this makes me feel good! I love organising!!!" wrote one user, with another joking that if she organised her cupboards in a similar fashion "the kids would mess it up".

Fans spotted a blunder on the This Morning Instagram account

The This Morning team were inspired to share how they organise their food after Gwyneth Paltrow gave her fans a sneak peek into her impressively tidy pantry. The 44-year-old took to her website Goop to reveal that her new year resolution for 2017 was to be more organised, starting with a complete overhaul of the food pantry in her kitchen.

Gwyneth Paltrow showed off her organised pantry

Teaming up with The Home Edit's Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, the mother-of-two proudly showed off the fruits of her labour, which sees her closet now spick and span, filled with labelled jars and bins as well as easy-to-reach baskets full of healthy snacks and food.

For those wanting to emulate Gwyneth's spring clean, Clea and Joanna shared some of the handy tips they shared with the Shakespeare in Love actress on the way. "Be realistic with your time and lifestyle," Clea and Joanna explain in the post. "If you're a busy parent who has a time-consuming job, you're not going to want to empty every box of pasta and cereal into jars when you get home from the grocery store. "The duo offered a handy solution: "It would be better to simply have bins labelled Pasta and Cereal," they advised. "To make unloading groceries quick and easy."
