Holly Willoughby's early birthday surprise involved unicorns and tequila shots!

February 9, 2017

Holly Willoughby was given an early birthday treat on Thursday's edition of This Morning. The presenter looked surprised when co-host Phillip Schofield made sure she kicked off her 36th birthday celebrations in style by presenting her with a unicorn and tasty chocolate tequila shots. As Holly announced the show had come to an end, Phillip kindly told her that there was still "two minutes to go".

Moments later, Gino D'Acampo appeared with Tony the Pony from Celebrity Big Brother, who was dressed up like a unicorn. "Oh my god, is it a unicorn for me?" Holly gasped. "Do I get to keep him?" to which Phillip remarked: "It's Tony the Pony." Gino then went out to present the bubbly TV star with a huge chocolate cake, complete with chocolate tequila shots. She quipped: "This is the stuff of dreams."

Meanwhile, last week, celebrity chef Gino celebrated his latest Gino D'Acampo My Restaurant opening with a glamourous VIP party in Leeds. The private party took place at his new Park Row restaurant with a star-studded guest list including some of his closest celebrity friends; Holly, Phillip and Peter Andre. Along with authentic Italian Cicchetti and cocktails, guests were also treated to an evening of entertainment from speed painter Dave Sharp and live music from, The Collective.

Gino, 40, had extra reason to celebrate after he announced his plans to open two new restaurants this year. The openings in Liverpool and Harrogate will follow on from the hugely successful launch of his restaurant brand Gino D'Acampo My restaurant in Manchester, London's Euston station and Leeds in 2016. The TV star plans to open more pasta bars & restaurants in major cities and travel hubs, both in the UK and internationally.
