This Beauty and the Beast themed afternoon tea is a Disney fan's dream come true

February 10, 2017

Disney fans are in for the ultimate foodie feast thanks to the Town House Kensington's latest afternoon tea offering! In tribute to the upcoming live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, the menu serves up a host of delectable treats inspired by the original animated version including cakes that look like characters such as Cogsworth and dishes offered up to Belle by Lumière in the iconic song Be Our Guest.

The tea itself is served in adorable Mrs. Potts and Chip Potts dishware so guests are sure to feel like they've truly stepped into the Beast's enchanted castle as they dine upon the mouth-watering dishes available.

The Disney Afternoon Tea has proven popular with fans

Some of our favourites? There's a chocolate ganache tart that's decorated to look just like talking clock Cogsworth, not to mention there's a vanilla and gold jelly which is presented in shot glasses with a rose petal immersed inside for a striking tribute to the enchanted rose that is pinnacle to the film. We're also loving the spiced snow ball macaroon in coconut and chocolate that's reminiscent of the iconic snowball fight between Belle and the Beast during Something There.
