Sip on a free cup of tea as you shop at IKEA when you order an IKEA Family Card. As well as being rewarded as you shop, you will also receive a free filter tea or coffee when you visit the store's restaurant between Monday and Friday. Waitrose and John Lewis

Sign up for a free myWaitrose card to get a free cup of tea or coffee when you shop in any Waitrose store. You can also sign up for a separate John Lewis loyalty card and you'll receive free tea and coffee vouchers to use in store several times throughout the year. French bakery chain PAUL offers customers a free hot drink and croissant when they sign up for its loyalty card scheme. The patisserie has 28 stores in London and three outside of the capital in Birmingham, Newbury and Oxford. Visit paul-uk-loyalty.com to register.

Coffee shop loyalty cards

A number of shops and restaurants around the UK offer loyalty card schemes including Benugo (benugo.com), which gives customers a free hot drink when they sign up to its email newsletter, and Booths supermarkets (booths.co.uk), which offers shoppers a free regular hot drink with its Booths card.
