Students across the UK will be receiving their A-Level results on Thursday, and if you're one of them you'll be able to celebrate (or commiserate) with a free Nando's, regardless of your results! That's right, everybody's favourite chicken chain is giving students the chance to claim a free meal at any of their UK restaurants on 17 August.
STORY: The UK's top fast food chain has been revealed
You'll get a free ¼ chicken or Fire-Starter – your choice of three chicken wings, houmous with peri-peri drizzle and pitta, red pepper dip with pitta, spicy mixed olives or peri-peri nuts. All you need to do to claim yours is visit your local Nando's and show your server your results (don't worry, they won't tell anyone!), and bring your ID. There is a minimum spend of £7 to claim your freebie, but that's easily done if your order a couple of sides and drinks!
A-Level students can get free food at Nando's today
It appears that more students will be celebrating this year, as the proportion of top A-Level grades has risen among students in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. A* and A grades have been awarded to 26.3 per cent of entries, up by 0.5 percentage points compared to 2016.
However the number of allocated university places has fallen, with UCAS saying that 416,000 places have been confirmed so far – down two per cent on the previous year.
