Nando's has launched its own home delivery service, much to the delight of its fans around the UK. The chicken restaurant is currently trialling the service before it is gradually rolled out across the country, and it has been described as a "game changer".

While the chain did previously offer a takeaway service, it did require customers to leave the house and collect their order from their nearest restaurant. And people who have already tried the delivery service have said it was quicker than ordering via Deliveroo or UberEATS. "Thanks @NandosUK, home delivery is hella quick!" one satisfied customer tweeted after receiving their order. "Ohhhhh my god nandos is doing delivery," another tweeted.

Unfortunately some people will have to wait a little longer to get their peri chicken fix delivered to their door, as delivery is not currently available to all addresses across the UK. You can type in your postcode at delivery.nandos.co.uk to check availability, and sign up for updates.

It's a good time to visit the popular Afro-Portugese restaurant, which recently updated its autumn menu with four new additions. Nando's lovers can now indulge in the Fino Pitta, the Sweet Potato & Butternut Burger or the Supergreen Burger – as well as adding the Vusa Perinaise to their dish. However some were disappointed to see that the original veggie patty has been taken off the menu to be replaced by the new vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The new additions to the menu come shortly after the beloved restaurant was voted the second best fast food chain in the UK. The Afro-Portugese inspired eatery, which came behind Five Guys, has won a legion of fans including Prince Harry and Kanye West.
