Awards season gets underway again on Sunday, as some of Hollywood's biggest stars descend upon The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles for the 75th Golden Globes Awards. And while many of them are expected to be wearing black in support of the #metoo movement, inside they will tuck into a colourful feast courtesy of the hotel's executive chef, Alberico Nunziata.

Unveiling his creations on Thursday, Alberico revealed that he has prepared a three-course feast that is not only delicious, but entirely organic and gluten-free. Celebrities will start their meal with a salad that features burrata cheese – freshly imported from Italy – topped with roasted butternut squash, cherry tomatoes, olives and balsamic vinegar. Violet garlic flowers add the finishing flourishes, and ensure the starter is totally Instagram-worthy.

The main course involves a risotto made with red beets, parmesan cheese and topped with a fresh fillet of sea bass, while vegetarians will be served a winter black truffle mushroom risotto. Last but not least, guests will be treated to a coffee-infused Frangelico crème brûlée, gold dusted and finished with a crinoline chocolate swirl and a chocolate Golden Globe on top – the perfect way to honour the awards show's 75th anniversary.

Speaking about how he developed the special menu, chef Alberico told Vogue: "Celebrities have very specific diets, and we want to provide good and beautiful food that's healthy at the same time. Also, for this group, you want to create something that's healthy and familiar, but not boring."

As for the drinks, the stars can toast the winners with a special champagne cocktail created especially for the night – the Moët 75. Created by Moët ambassador Jamie Chung, it features a blend of Moët Imperial champagne, tequila and freshly-squeezed blood orange juice, finished with a touch of organic honey.
